Category: Safety, Spray Foam Contractors   Posted by: demilec

Keeping all of your SDS’s in plain sight and readily available is an OSHA requirement. In the case of an emergency, whether it be a personal injury, a spill or even a fire, the SDS will contain all of the relevant information that will be needed by any emergency response team. SDS’s will contain the following information:

  • Product and Company information of the chemical manufacturer
  • Hazards Identification
  • First Aid Measures
  • Fire Fighting Measures
  • Handling Precautions
  • Exposure limits

Keep SDS’s in a clearly marked book mounted on the wall of your spray rig, so that anyone can easily locate it.
